Gluten-Free
We are happy to say that the list of things you CAN’T eat is shorter than the list you CAN!
Here are the things you should avoid:
- All tortillas other than Corn
- We can make a Quesadilla on two sets of 6’ Corn Tortillas. We can also build any Burrito “open-face” on Corn Tortillas as well
- Substitute Corn Tortillas on the Shrimp Taco (and make the modifications below)
- Whitefish
- Our marinade contains soy sauce, which is on the “No” list
- Shrimp Cooking Sauce
- Also contains soy sauce. We will cook the Shrimp in olive oil instead
- Tostada Shell
- We can serve your Tostada without the shell on a plate
- Salsa Blanca
- This is served in our Border Salad, as well as in the Shrimp Burritos and Tacos. We can delete the Blanca on these items and you can substitute one of our other salsas instead (we recommend Chipotle Salsa on the Shrimp!)
Everything else on our menu is “safe” for gluten-free requirements, including our chips! We will happily accommodate your needs and modify our menu items to make them safe for you to consume. In addition, we have trained our staff to modify our procedures to eliminate any potential points of cross-contamination. These procedures include:
- Change food-handling gloves to prepare order
- Use dedicated cutting boards, utensils and knives during preparation
- Heat tortillas on a dedicated griddle for Gluten-free food preparation only
- Fry chips in a dedicated fryer for Gluten-free preparation only
